MyFedTrainer all began with Lucy Morgan, CPA. Lucy was working as a controller for nonprofits and was responsible for the financial management of several federal grants. She found the rules complex and was wondering how to make sense of the federal administrative requirements. She taught herself the various rules and cost principles, and wanted to ensure others didn't have the same challenges. This is how MyFedTrainer was born. We are MyFedTrainer, a dedicated team committed to empowering professionals in the realm of federal grant compliance. Our trainings and products support all entities that administer grants and create cultures of compliance to ensure proper federal grant stewardship.

Our purpose at MyFedTrainer is to empower and guide professionals through the complexities of federal grant compliance. We aim to provide specialized training and ongoing support, enabling individuals to confidently manage grants while focusing on their core missions. Rachel Werner is the Principal at MyFedTrainer, a leading national compliance training consulting firm, and is the Owner and CEO of RBW Strategy, a grants consulting firm located in the Washington, DC Metro area. Rachel and her team of consultants have garnered over $240 million in grant funding and have managed over $2.5 billion in federal grants. She and her team at MyFedTrainer offer compliance training to groups and individuals to ensure they can manage the complexities of federal grant awards and offer grant management consulting through MyFedTrainer and its affiliation with RBW Strategy.

Stacie Taylor is the Training Coordinator at MyFedTrainer. With a background in business development, sales, and education, Stacie brings a wealth of expertise to the realm of grant training. Her professional journey includes successful navigation through diverse sectors, such as healthcare policy, major account management, and specialized educational training. In her role as a Training Coordinator, she is responsible for logistics, optimizing the sales process, and utilizes her qualifications — an MBA, a Bachelor's in Business Management, and certifications in Grant Management and Digital Marketing — to provide strategic solutions for training initiatives.

Meet MJ White. She specializes in grants management, risk management, and community development, providing consulting, training, and technical assistance services to public sector and non-profit clients nationwide.
MJ has nearly 30 years of experience in regulatory compliance, and has provided grants policy, management consulting, and training services to federal agencies including U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Department of Health (HHS - multiple subagencies), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Department of Homeland Security/FEMA and U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Department of the Interior, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Department of Defense and others, as well as state and local government agencies, colleges, universities, and non-profits.

Joseline Kirkendoll is the Founder of Dynamic Impact Consulting, specializing in grant management training and consulting for nonprofits, government agencies, and higher education institutions. With extensive experience in international development, state government, and nonprofits, Joseline helps organizations streamline grant processes and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
Her expertise includes pre- and post-award management, audits, risk assessment, and leadership. Joseline holds advanced degrees in Public Administration and Economics, and is dedicated to empowering teams through personalized training and consulting in effective grant management.

Jasmine Markanday is a unique blend of a seasoned grant professional and a financial expert with over two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her specialization in Federal grant readiness, research, writing, and management, coupled with her robust background as both an accountant and a consultant, has honed her deep expertise in grant compliance, particularly concerning 2 CFR 200 and Federal Administrative Regulations.
Jasmine holds several esteemed certifications, including Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grant Professional Certified (GPC), and Registered Product Owner (RPO). She is also an approved trainer by the Grant Professionals Association (GPA), further underscoring her proficiency and commitment to advancing the field of grants.

Lucy M. Morgan is a CPA, MBA, GPA-approved trainer, speaker, and author of 3 books, including “Decoding Grant Management-The Ultimate Success Guide to the Federal Grant Regulations in 2 CFR Part 200.” As a leading authority on federal grant management for nonprofits, institutions of higher education, and state, local and tribal governments, she has written over 250 articles on grant management topics featured in LinkedIn, various publications, and on the MyFedTrainer.com blog.

Diane H. Leonard, GPC, RST is a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) and Approved Trainer of the Grant Professionals Association. Diane is also a Scrum Trainer, Scrum Master, and Scrum Product Owner by Scrum inc. Diane began her career as a Program Officer, a full-time staff member of a state-wide grantmaking organization and she continues to serve as a reviewer for a variety of grantmaking organizations. Since 2006, when she formed DH Leonard Consulting, Diane and her team have secured more than $121 million dollars in competitive grant awards for the clients of DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing Services. She is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association.
