Rachel Werner will be presenting Programmatic and Financial Planning
Title IV Program Managers specifically requested Technical Assistance from MSDE Title IV team around program development and implementation in the June 2024 evaluation. Additionally, MSDE Title IV received feedback from the Federal Audit identifying areas of growth and development for programming at the State and LEA level. 

Essential Content
  • Alignment of programmatic and financial planning in the government grant application process
  • Review of logic model components, outcomes-based budgeting and supplement not supplanting concept overview.
  • Accessing and utilizing supporting materials and resources.
Outcomes
TIV Program and Fiscal Managers will be better equipped to align program development and implementation with financial planning.
